Phil Medina, Office Manager/Technician

      Phil has been with Galesburg Animal Hospital since July 1972. He graduated from Costa High School in 1971. Many years of experience, in all areas of the hospital, have given Phil the knowledge to help you with your pet.
      Phil began his veterinary career cleaning kennels and caring for dogs and cats when Dr. Monte Trimble and wife, Ruth owned the hospital. He eventually became their technician and receptionist. Currently, Phil serves as office manager and receptionist. Phil also maintains our office equipment.

      Phil has one dog of his own, "Boxy" a 10 1/2 year old Boxer that enjoys occasionally coming to the office with him. His hobbies include landscaping his yard, cooking, taking pictures, and tropical fish.

Jennefer

Jennefer Gibbs, Technician/Receptionist

      Jennefer has been with Galesburg Animal Hospital since May 2003. She comes to the Galesburg area from Cambridge, Wisconsin. Jennefer worked as a veterinary technician at Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic with both large and small animals. Jennefer loves to educate people on the care of their pets. She serves as anesthesia, surgery and X-ray technician. Jennefer also manages the care of hospitalized patients.
      She currently lives on a farm in Altona where she raises and trains horses. She is a member of The Appaloosa Horse Club, The International Arabian Horse Association and has seven horses of her own.

      Jen has six dogs and one cat.

Marla Bell, Receptionist/Technician

      Marla originally worked here from October 1995 to July 1997 while attending Carl Sandburg College where she received an Asssociate of Science, after which she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Illinois in January 2000. She returned to the animal hospital in March of 2000.
      Since her return Marla has become one of the receptionists who greets you upon entering the clinic. Marla's responsiblities include waiting on clients, helping as a technician, preparing reminder postcards and maintaining this wonderful website.

      She has a seven year old Chow/Kelpie hybrid named Chloe.

Nancy Yeutson, Receptionist/Technician

        Nancy has been with Galesburg Animal Hospital since April 2000. She started as a kennel attendent and has progressed to Technician and Receptionist.
      Nancy was married to Johan in June 2007. She and her husband raise goats and attend The First Church of Nazarene.

      Nancy has a black & tan coonhound, Allie, and a three-legged hybrid, Persia.

Kim Adams, Groomer

      Kim joined the Galesburg Animal Hospital staff in March 2002. She comes to us from Muscatine, Iowa where she graduated from Louisa-Muscatine High school in 1983. She worked at the Muscatine Humane Society for five years and then started her own grooming business before moving to Monmouth. She enjoys golfing and NASCAR racing.
      She grooms full time, Monday thru Friday, and is experienced in grooming all breeds of dogs and cats. Appointments can usually be made with minimal waiting time.

      Kim owns three Poodles, Angel, Demi and Shilo.
