All pets must be spayed or neutered before they can leave the hospital.
The typical adoption fees for dogs and cats in the Animal Hospital Adoption Program and what that fee includes is as follows: For Dogs, there is a $80 adoption fee which includes the neuter or spay operation, any vaccines and medications given in hospital prior to adoption including rabies vaccine and canine distemper vaccine. For Cats, there is a $65 adoption fee which includes the neuter or spay operation, any vaccines and medications given in hospital prior to adoption including rabies vaccine and feline distemper vaccine. Heartworm tests for dogs and other vaccines, such as bordetella for dogs and feline leukemia for cats, are also available at the owners request and are not included in the adoption fee. Adoptions fees may vary in special cases. |
